US Talent Acquisition and Recruiting LeadTitle: US Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Lead Location: Missouri-St. Louis Monsanto is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Global Talent Acquisition organization as the US Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading talent acquisition strategies, business partnership and recruiting activities across multiple business functions for Monsanto's US Region.
Responsibilities: * Serve as strategic partner to functional senior business leadership and HR leadership for US-based recruiting activities (regional US recruiting and global recruiting for US managed partners) * Provide direct leadership and people management for client facing recruiting resources with ownership for business line , functionally specific strategies and recruiting activities * Partner with Talent Acquisition Centers of Excellence (COE) and Operations regarding business process improvements to enhance candidate, client, and business results * Serve as member of the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, focusing on organizational effectiveness, structure, strategy, prioritization and resource development * Directly lead development, coaching, and skill enhancement for recruiting resources * Provide information, analysis, and recommendations for maintenance and improvement for Monsanto's competitive health relative to Talent Acquisition specific to the US region. * Own insights and inputs required for multiple senior leadership councils, meetings and reports related to US hiring trends, diversity trends, outreach activities, and professional development * Coordinate meetings and agendas for the US recruiting team * Project leadership and participation for initiatives across HR, Talent Acquisition and the functional business lines. * Develop and improve external relationships and networks to support talent pipelining and best practices efforts * Engage actively in social media, talent communities, and industry outreach Required Skills/Experience: * Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or related field of study * Demonstrated experience in leading successful recruiting efforts across and/or skill sets * Experience in HR related function outside of Recruiting * 8 years of experience in managing recruiters and flexible recruiting resources that support multiple business functions * Experience in managing and supporting multiple sites and locations * Process, compliance and consultative orientation * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook * Experience in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage relationships with business partners, team members, and stakeholders * Experience with the engagement and management of 3rd party Search and agency resources * Strong agility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic and changing organization * Demonstrated history of effective external network development and professional outreach * Ability to build collaborative and effective working relationships across the matrix, both within and outside of HR * Results oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail evidenced through sound analytical skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to creatively solve problems and provide timely and sound recommendations * Ability to effectively leading others through influence * Ability to maintain confidential information Desired Skills/Experience: * Masters Degree or MBA * Global business experience * Non-HR business line work experience * Experience using Taleo for recruiting process management
