Job Summary:
The sonographer performs various diagnostic procedures using non-ionizing high frequency sound waves
Experience 3 months - 1 year
Education High School plus specialized training (min. 6 mos.-2 yrs.)
Special Skills
Two years of approved paramedical school. Attended an approved school for diagnostic ultrasound which is accepted by the society of diagnostic medical sonographers or the American Institue of Ultrasound, or be board eligible.
