Job Description
The Shipping Associate directs and oversees the day-to-day shipping operations, which includes performing shipping functions of all chemicals, finished goods and returns leaving the Company and all required documentation. Responsibilities * Responsible for the preparation and processing of all chemical and non-chemical shipments and related documentation. * Prepare and package Company samples that are outgoing for analysis and maintain appropriate documentation. * Determine the most efficient bundling method (palletizing or individual packages). * Provide training of shipping personnel. * Resolution of shipping errors. * Maintain packaging/shipping supply inventory. * Participate in various shipping projects. * Recommend and implement methods to increase the quality of products and/or services.
