Title: Research Associate Location: South Korea-Cheongwon, Chungbuk **Key Accountabilities 1. Ensures to take all necessary ESH training programs to prevent any recordable accidents. See below. 2. Maintains an updated knowledge and understanding of regulatory affecting the company in Korea. Also ensure that supporting of breeding programs should be conducted in accordance with company policies (FCPA etc). 3. Supports breeders for exact spending of approved breeding and station budget. 4. Ensures that all required training and Computer Based Training (CBT) are taken in timely manner for proper MIDAS (Monsanto Integrated Data for Agricultural Systems) and MVP (Monsanto vegetable platform) implementation. 5. Ensures that the evaluation data of breeding materials and hybrids are exactly collected and input to the MIDAS and MVP, and ensures that data for PVP and germplasm patent are properly collected and input to the required forms. 6. Ensures that breeding trials are well organized in accordance with breeders demand, and supports breeders for selections of segregation population, finished lines, and new hybrids. 7. Collaborates with scientists and pathologists to support breeders with marker assisted selection and screening of resistant breeding materials. 8. Coordinates seeds delivery for germplasm exchange and off-station trials in accordance with breeders demand. 9. Ensures that DPR goals and comments are properly done in timely manner and maintains close contact with breeders for successful DPR process 10. Develop and maintain close relationships with internal and external people to support proper implementation of breeding activities. -Minimum Bachelor degree in agricultural or plant science. -Candidates should be competent in the Agricultural and Plant Sciences. -Candidates should have required English communication skill and intermediate level of Excel and basic access as well as PP and Word programs.-Candidates should have the skills to develop and maintain good relationships with internal and external people.
