DSA is looking for a Project Manager. This is a managerial position with technical growth and potential in a cutting edge technological organization. Location: Fort Meade, MD and the Washington, DC - Baltimore, MD area.
The PM will provide project management and system engineering support to the network and web-based development efforts of the organization.
The candidate will perform evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems and recommend elop work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems; prepare management plans and reports; coodinate schedules to facilitate completion of contract deliverables, briefings/presentations and Project Reviews; perform analysis; and develop and review program administrative operating procedures.
Requirements:
• Experience as project manager for small to medium IT development efforts lasting 1 to 5 months. Oversight on overall management of assigned projects, insuring that the technical solutions and schedules of the project are implemented as scheduled.
• Candidate shall also be familiar with standard project management tools e.g., MS Project, DOORS, Pert, Gantt.
• Perform enterprise wide horizontal integration planning and interface to other functional systems.
• TS required and TS/SCI preferred.
Skills:
PMP Certification with minimum of 6-8 years of management experience.
Microsoft Project (2007 & 2010)
Experience in Contractor Transition Planning
Strong working knowledge of security and information assurance principles
Specific Knowledge of various cyber security and information assurance related technologies or services
