Product Manager - Medical Device company in South Shore Massachusetts
Great opportunity to work with a growing industry! Join us as a Product Manager in the medical device industry. Manage the profitability of an assigned medical device product line ensuring marketing and sales programs reinforce company's domestic and international sales goals.
Essential functions include:
Analyze product performance, competitiveness, pricing, trends in the marketplace, and competition's market share. Define strategies to improve market position, improve quality and reduce costs.
Produce, maintain and update annual forecast.
Manage the design of marketing support literature.
Be the Company expert and trainer on the product line.
Provide updated product information to distrubutors and sales representatives.
Develop and maintain budget related to product line.
Participate in the conception, development and introduction of new products and product modifications and line extensions.
Interface with ad agency and outside vendors.
Requirements:
Requirements includd:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Management. Medical Device industry STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Presentation Grpahics and internet based applications.
Must be available for periodic overnight travel.
