Streck is recruiting for a talented and professional Medical Technologist for a full-time position as a Technical Service Representative. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your technical skills in an office environment.
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, investigating and resolving technical product issues and customer concerns via e-mail and telephone for laboratories worldwide. We are looking for a candidate who will take pride in service-oriented work and enjoy using his/her technical knowledge in a non-bench position as well as using Excel for data analysis and problem solving.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or medical laboratory sciences with ASCP certification
2-5 years experience in flow cytometry or molecular/PCR preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving skills and phone/e-mail etiquette
Must be dependable, organized and have attention to detail
Possess thorough knowledge of quality control practices
