Part-Time Labeling Specification Specialist

We are currently looking to add to our team a part-time labeling specification specialist to work with our client in the food manufacturing industry.
This position will be responsible for the support focused on specification support: on entering raw material information into our clients systems:
Reviewing raw material documents - legacy documents, supplier documents, client specifications - to validate and update ingredient information for entry into client systems.
Working in Genesis and GLOBE SAP systems to capture the information to complete the work.
Organizing all the ingredient information and related information into physical files.
A secondary activity can be to review label graphics at preliminary stages:
Reviewing / proofreading graphics information for regulatory content and to ensure accuracy.
Possibly generating regulatory information to be applied to packaging.
Requirements:
- Comfortable with computers and systems in order to complete the work in our systems, proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Since the work covers information such as supplier ingredient lines, and allergen and nutrition information, experience in food industry, labeling and food regulations is highly preferred.
Since the work covers the review and validation of technical subjects, familiarity with technical terminology, analytical skills and a "detective's" orientation will be helpful.
Excellent communication skills in English
Bachelors degree preferred
