As the Outreach Program Coordinator on the TPS People Resource Team you would leverage your scientific expertise, passion for Monsanto and our products and vigor for building new networks and relationships to attract top talent to our organization.
Our Outreach Program Coordinator can expect to: * Leverage internal and external professional relationships and networks for referrals * Research emerging technologies and find experts in these disciplines * Define new talent, skills and roles to evolve our organization to meet future R&D needs * Leverage Monsanto University Relations organization for campus recruiting * Partner with Talent Acquisition resources to maximize our candidate pipeline * Screen candidates to assess candidate skill level and organizational fit to recommend appropriate roles within the TPS organization
This individual must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills while displaying the highest degree of integrity in implementing the industry's best practices (sourcing, recruiting, candidate assessment). The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, proactive, and understand the urgency and confidentiality of their position. Required Skills/Experience: * Minimum of a PhD in a scientific discipline * Possess knowledge of Monsanto science, products & culture * Possess passion for the finding and hiring talent with a focus on diversity * Ability to recruit, screen, and interview large volumes of candidates for numerous openings * Excellent understanding of the Internet as a research tool * Strong influencing and networking skills * Strong agility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic and changing organization * Ability to do some travel Desired Skills/Experience: * Previous work experience within Monsanto R&D * Strong demonstrated knowledge of agricultural biotechnology
