Territory (if applicable): Supply Chain Business Unit: Supply Chain includes facilities and processes that operate to manufacture a finished product from raw material and deliver to the end-user. This business unit enhances competitive advantage, efficiency, innovation, quality and consistency. Position Purpose: Leading the day to day activities of the maintenance mechanics and electricians in the repair and upkeep of factory equipment including preventive maintenance programs. Assuring the work order program is being properly documented with all PM's and repairs Providing Maintenance support for all R&D activities. Providing leadership, training, and knowledge to the Maintenance Department as well as the Kent Facility. Administration of time keeping, overtime, and paperwork related to running an effective department. Assuring the spare parts program is administered in an efficient cost effect manner. Developing and sharing one point lessons with maintenance staff to implement permanent fixes. Required (Basic) Experience & Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of four years' experience as a Maintenance Supervisor. Must have a wide technical knowledge including: electrical, PLC, mechanical, machining, refrigeration, welding, and general construction practices. Must have good written and oral listening/communication skills. Must have strong leadership, coaching and training skills. While this position is primarily a day shift position, the successful candidate must be available to work all shifts as business needs dictate. Required Competencies & Other Skills: Leadership skills, supervisory skills, strong communication/interpersonal skills, employee development skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to plan and organize. In addition, the candidate must possess the ability to manage conflict, align performance for success and initiate action.
