Job Description : Job Description: • Performs installation, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on equipment having combinations of mechanical, electronic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems often interfaced with numerical or computer numerical control. • Must understand analog, digital and numerical systems; be able to repair them and their associated mechanical systems and drivers. • Must be able to interpret complex schematics and drawings of machine components. • Must be able to work independently and make repair decisions, often without technical assistance from supervisor. • Must be able to solve problems alone and/or with technical assistance from machine tool manufacturers or contracted maintenance sources. • Will be required to work closely with representatives from time to time to up-date and/or improve skills and knowledge. • May be required to perform duties similar to those performed by the Maintenance Electrician. • Responsible for satellite accumulation of waste paint related material. • Position requires a high school diploma plus a 2-year technical college education. • Over five years experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted. Two years of relevant work experience is equivalent to one year of education. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
