We are seeking RF Design Engineers in our San Jose, California office location!
Job Responsibilities
Design RF filters, duplexers, multiplexers, and modules with Avago Technologies' Film Bulk Acoustic Resonator (FBAR) for wireless applications. Design components using crystal resonators having quality factors of several thousand at GHz frequencies integrated on a silicon chip smaller than a pinhead. Work includes schematic level design using ADS and our proprietary device models, and physical electromagnetic simulation using HFSS, as well as RF characterization of devices and modules. IC layout as well as PCB design and a good understanding of reactive parasitic circuit elements is needed to complete the design process.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Minimum of a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics; a PhD is strongly preferred
5+ years of RF/microwave design experience required
Good physical intuition for electromagnetic problems
