Position Description
We are currently seeking a Customer Resource Specialist to act as a technical resource for the telephone and field sales forces. This position is responsible for actively working with the VP, Sales in conjunction with the sales team as a technical advisor and product advocate for our after-hours, switch-boarding and appointment scheduling live voice products, as well as the automated services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
. Request and coordinate internal resources (Call Center Management and Product Support) required to support the sales department. . Provide knowledge and training on products to peers, presales and sales staff within the organization. . Assist in the development and delivery of product overviews and demonstration materials utilized by the sales team. . Review technical specifications and quotes to prospective clients. . Assist with the oversight of responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs. . Convey customer feedback requirements to Product Management teams. . Perform customer needs assessments and solution finding sessions in conjunction with the lead sales executive for specific accounts. . Review customer operations for improving business process opportunities. . Performs other related duties as required or requested. Position Requirements
Education & Experience:
. Education equivalent to Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in related work experience demonstrating the ability to articulate technology and product positioning to both internal and external stakeholders. . Three or more years of sales operations and/or customer relations experience, in a related industry, demonstrating the ability to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. . Demonstrates an understanding and the ability to communicate product capability gaps or functionality to the Product Team in order to define ways to handle them using partners, product enhancements, etc.
