Summary:
The Pharmacy Tech II - Certified provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.
Requirements:
Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
Repackages bulk medications.
Receives and stores incoming supplies.
Education & Experience:
Previous IV sterile preparation experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of ASHP approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
Registered with the State Board of Pharmacy and Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required. STHe has a 90 day grace period from date of hire or transfer date to obtain certification.
